HOW TO:BEACH NAILS

From ocean waves to seashell accents, we’ll walk you through everything you need to achieve the look.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Utterly Charming – A sheer holographic silver glitter
Daredevil – A turquoise blue crème
3 Times A Lady – A white blue crème
La Vie En Rose – A cerise pink crème
STEP 1: BASE
Begin with our vitamin-rich base coat To Have + To Hold, expertly formulated to create a smooth surface that extends the life of your manicure and promotes healthier-looking nails.
STEP 2: SAND EFFECT
For the background, paint one coat of Utterly Charming onto your index finger and ring finger.
STEP 3: STARFISH
Using a thin nail brush, carefully draw a 5-pronged star using Daredevil on your index finger. Then, fill it in to create a pretty starfish shape.
Repeat using La Vie En Rose on your ring finger.
TOP TIP: Rest your hand on a stable surface to keep it steady whilst painting the tips.
Using the Neat + Tidy Dotting Tool, paint blobs of 3 Times A Lady to add detail to the starfish.
Finish by painting blobs of Daredevil and La Vie En Rose around the contrasting starfish using the Neat + Tidy Dotting Tool.
STEP 4: WAVES
Wrap clingfilm around a flat surface and paint vertical lines of Daredevil and 3 Times A Lady, then blend with a nail brush.
Using a small nail brush, paint the new blended shade along the nail tip of your middle finger to create a beautiful crashing wave effect.
TOP TIP: To fix any uneven lines or mistakes, use a cotton swab or an orangewood stick dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the edges.
STEP 5: FINISHING TOUCHES
Paint 2 coats of Daredevil on your pinky finger. Once dry, follow by dabbing Utterly Charming on a makeup sponge to lightly coat with glitter.
STEP 6: SEAL
Finish your manicure with a glossy, mirror-like finish with our turbo-dry top coat Shine + Shield to amplify the colour’s sparkle and protect the polish for extended wear.
