HOW TO:CELESTIAL NAILS
Put a celestial spin on spring with this pastel nail look from @simlynail.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Towers & Tiaras – A metallic taupe
First Love – A pastel lilac
Once Upon a Lime – A pastel lime green
Glass Slipper – A pastel grey
STEP 1: BASE
Begin with our vitamin-rich base coat To Have + To Hold, expertly formulated to create a smooth surface that extends the life of your manicure and promotes healthier-looking nails.
STEP 2: MODERN FRENCH
Using a thin nail brush, carefully create a wavy modern French tip along the tips of your nails. Repeat each nail with a different colour.
TOP TIP: Rest your hand on a stable surface to keep it steady whilst painting the tips.
STEP 3: FILL
With your line as a guide, fill in the tips with the Colour Confidence pro-glide brush.
STEP 4: SEEING STARS
Using the Neat + Tidy Dotting Tool, paint blobs of Towers & Tiaras. Then, with a thin nail brush draw the paint out from the dots at four points in a cross shape to create stars. Repeat on all remaining nails to create a beautiful celestial design.
TOP TIP: For any uneven lines or mistakes, use a cotton swab or an orangewood stick dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the edges.
STEP 5: SEAL
Finish your manicure with a glossy, mirror-like finish with our turbo-dry top coat Shine + Shield to amplify the colour’s sparkle and protect the polish for extended wear.
