Yes, nano glass foot files are extremely effective for gently removing dry, hardened skin and stubborn calluses.
The key benefits include:
Yes, nano glass foot files are an excellent choice for removing dry or hard skin for instantly smooth, soft and snag-free feet. They use microscopically etched glass to gently polish away dry, hardened skin and calluses without the harsh scraping of traditional metal files. Because glass is non-porous, it won’t trap bacteria or moisture like pumice stones, making it a far more hygienic and long-lasting choice.
For best results, use your glass foot file on dry skin or for a more advanced exfoliation, apply the Remove + Smooth Hard Skin and Callus Peel first. Allow it to penetrate the skin for 3–5 minutes before using the file. Using the exfoliating side (step 1), work in gentle back-and-forth motions with light pressure to remove dry, dead skin and calluses, paying particular attention to the heels, the balls of the feet and any other areas where the skin has become hardened. Then, use the finer side (step 2) to smooth and refine the skin for a polished finish. Rinse your feet with water to remove any remaining dead skin, then massage a nourishing foot cream into your feet to deeply hydrate and help maintain smooth, healthy-looking skin.
Use your glass foot file 1–2 times a week, depending on the condition of your feet and the amount of hard skin. Avoid over-filing a single area or applying excessive pressure, as this can cause irritation.
Nano glass foot files can last for many months or even years with proper care, as the etched glass surface doesn’t wear down as quickly as traditional foot files. If it seems less effective, simply rinse it with warm, soapy water to wash away any trapped skin cells. Be sure to handle the file with care, as dropping it on a hard surface such as a bathroom floor could cause the glass to chip or break. If your glass file becomes chipped or damaged, ensure you stop using it immediately and replace it with a new one.
Rinse the file under warm running water after each use, then allow it to air dry completely before storing.
